In Groove Planet you build a funky, highly stylized alien planetoid that develops according to the music you play through the app and your actions in-game. Pick a song in your library and tap to the beat to earn musical notes with which to upgrade your world. Your income will increase based on the technology and building units that you add to your planet. Build an advanced world of music - a Groove Planet.
A particular music track can affect Groove Planet in a variety of ways, including the rhythm-based aspect of the gameplay, game balance, special appearances by aliens, environmental and atmospheric shifts based on chords, and more. Certain music patterns will result in surprise outcomes, and over time your planet will develop based on your music selection.
Groove Planet incorporates chord recognition technology by strategic partner Jamn (http://getjamn.com/) to deliver a unique experience and provide insight into your favourite music. Groove Planet‘s integration with iTunes® allows you to browse and preview millions of songs for unlimited musical discovery.
